The Story is an inversion of Jimmy Stewart's "It's a Wonderful Life" meets "The Sixth Sense", shot in the vein and style of "300" and "Sin City". Babette Harrington's toxic hate smolders just under her transparent surface of insincerity and sarcasm. Wife of playboy shipping tycoon Reginald Harrington, whose years of philandering about town fueled Babette's anger, driving her to her darkest decision to commit the ultimate sin, murder. Contriving an elaborate scheme to make both her and her husband's deaths look like a robbery, she double crosses her accomplices and heads off across the night desert to make her get away in her husband's 1934 Bugetti Royal. Just as she thinks she has gotten away with murder she’s distracted from her driving by a mysterious vision along side the road and crashes the car into a Joshua tree. Now stranded in the middle of the night desert with an incriminating large bag of cash in her possession, she must hide in the intimidating night desert. English accent and fussy tendencies this mysterious man acts as a guide leading Babette to look directly into her soul through the many horrific acts of her past. A shamanistic healer and brutal savior all in one, Mr. Timmons leads Babette to face her ultimate fear, forgiveness of one's self. |
